The Mountain Skills 1 and 2 training course is the ideal mountain navigation course for you to be self sufficient in the Irish and UK hills.
About the Mountain Skills training course
The Mountain Skills training course is designed to impart the necessary skills in mountain navigation (in rain, mist or darkness) and knowledge of hazards, equipment and movement in steep ground so that an individual may be confident and self sufficient in the hills and mountains in Ireland and the UK.
It also provides the foundation Mountain Skills training for those who wish to progress on to the national and internationally recognised leadership qualifications in Ireland.

These Mountain Skills and Introduction to Navigation courses are directed by Adrian Hendroff, a member of the Mountain Training Association (MTA). Adrian is fully insured, Garda Vetted and has an up-to-date Rescue and Emergency Care (REC3) first aid certificate. All Mountain Skills courses are Mountaineering Ireland (MI) / Mountain Training Board Ireland (MTBI) approved unless otherwise stated.
